Decide whether you need comfort or another player
These are different purchases. Someone playing a long single-player game on the television may value a larger grip. A household planning a party game may need extra individual controllers instead. Start with the names of the games you expect to play and their supported-controller lists. Do not use the number of plastic pieces in a box as a player-count guide.
The original model's useful features
Nintendo lists motion controls, HD rumble and amiibo functionality for the original Pro Controller. It is a conventional gamepad rather than a pair of detachable Joy-Con. The exact linked product is HACAFSSKA, ASIN B01NAWKYZ0. This guide does not present it as the newer Switch 2 Pro Controller or transfer newer-model features to it.
What independent testing adds
TechRadar's review praises the comfortable design and directional pad while finding the price difficult and the triggers relatively shallow. That helps frame the trade-off: a better-shaped controller may be useful for your play style, but it is not an automatic upgrade for every game. These are the reviewer's observations; Nice Find Now has not tested the controller.

The purchase check that matters
Read the retailer's model name and package contents rather than relying on a search thumbnail. Compare delivered cost and returns, then decide whether your existing controller is actually uncomfortable. Our photograph shows the original black Pro Controller. When not to buy
Keep the supplied controls when they are comfortable and cover your games. Avoid this as an assumed two-player upgrade: it is one gamepad.
