Selection starts with a task

We choose products and topics around a specific inconvenience: what needs charging, what cable needs storing, or what surface needs cleaning. A product should offer a concrete function. Price, commission or a large review count alone is not a reason for a recommendation. Product recommendations must include a licensed real photograph and dated Amazon.com category-rank evidence collected within the preceding 30 days, alongside a clear practical use, limitations and alternatives. A continuous 30-day rank history is not required. Each guide distinguishes retrieval date from the source’s observation date or reported crawl age; a recent snapshot is never presented as a live or monthly cumulative ranking. Any explicitly accepted older evidence is labelled. A current rank, a calendar-month summary and a last-month purchase badge are different measures. We do not substitute one for another or infer unpublished sales.

Evidence and experience

Current guides use manufacturer specifications, device support instructions and identified specialist sources. These establish what a source says; they are not independent proof of performance. Our decision tables are editorial analysis. We do not describe an untested product as hands-on reviewed, or create star ratings, speed measurements or durability scores.

If a future article includes first-hand testing, it should name the tested model, describe the method and conditions, show supporting evidence and state any limits. Personal experience belongs only where it is factual and directly relevant.

AI assistance

We use AI assistance for research, drafting and publishing. Linked sources support factual statements; readers should use the exact device or surface instructions where compatibility matters. We welcome corrections and do not present AI-generated product scenes as evidence of real use.

Source-check dates show when we consulted the cited material, not a promise of continuous monitoring. We update affected facts when a change is verified. Material corrections should be described in the article with the correction date. Report an issue with the article address, the disputed statement and a supporting source.

Images and prices

Product recommendations require a real photograph with documented permission or a suitable license and a verified model match. We do not use AI-generated product images or illustrations as substitutes. Photography is credited beside the image and does not imply our own hands-on testing. Retailers provide current prices, availability and purchase terms.
