Selection starts with a task

We choose products and topics around a specific inconvenience: what needs charging, what cable needs storing, or what surface needs cleaning. A product should offer a concrete function. Price, commission or a large review count alone is not a reason for a recommendation.

Evidence and experience

Current guides use manufacturer specifications, device support instructions and identified specialist sources. These establish what a source says; they are not independent proof of performance. Our decision tables are editorial analysis. We do not describe an untested product as hands-on reviewed, or create star ratings, speed measurements or durability scores.

If a future article includes first-hand testing, it should name the tested model, describe the method and conditions, show supporting evidence and state any limits. Personal experience belongs only where it is factual and directly relevant.

AI assistance

We use AI assistance for research, drafting and publishing. Linked sources support factual statements; readers should use the exact device or surface instructions where compatibility matters. We welcome corrections and do not present AI-generated product scenes as evidence of real use.
